As a creative, the most precious, enjoyable and profound part of the creative process is the opening up of my spirit and intuition to the mysterious, ancient Presence which pulsates consistently and eternally through all living things - both visible and invisible. As we find ourselves within modern society, of which concrete, digital and an array of man-made structures exits, via my impasto impressionist oil paintings I wish to offer viewers a mental and spiritual respite into those emotions of wellbeing and tranquility that we all experience when actually spending time in nature.

The word that came to my mind to describe the effect of African wild upon me was - recalibrate. The sounds, peace, wild of the landscape and especially the animals re-aligns your spirit. Puts everything in harmony within yourself.
